Given the new regulations for e-commerce in Spain by which EVERY delivery that arrives at Spanish territory must pay the corresponding VAT to the declared value, all packages should be marked as “PRINTED MATTER” with the declaration of “NON COMMERCIAL VALUE” and declare 0 (zero) as the delivery value, because if you specify a value, even if it is very low, when arrives at Spain, at Customs, they will charge 21% of your delivery value (VAT Tax), apart from charging you with the customs officer fee. This charge is not covered by the participation fee and, therefore, it will have to be paid by the participant who had assigned a declared value to the delivery.
