Dates

  • Registration and postal submission to the competition will be open until 10 July 2026.
  • Jury meeting and announcement of awards: 14 August 2026
  • Opening event, awards ceremony and catalogue presentation: 19 September 2026
  • Exhibition of the works: until 24 October 2026

The Works

  • The prize is open to all printmaking disciplines and printed digital artwork.
  • Up to 3 different works per artist will be accepted.
  • There is no minimum image size, but the paper must measure 20 x 20 cm.
  • Works must not be dated before 2024, nor belong to deceased artists.
  • Works must be properly signed on the front. On the back, the technical details of the work and the artist’s personal information must appear clearly and legibly.
  • Works must be sent by CERTIFIED MAIL, in a simple package, without frame, glass or mat, until 10 July 2026.
    Write on the front of the package: “PRINTED MATTER” and “NO COMMERCIAL VALUE”.

Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded:

1st Prize: €2,000
2nd Prize: €1,000
3rd Prize: €500

In addition, the jury will award three honorary mentions without monetary value.

Awarded works will become part of the art collection of the Asociación Taller Experimental de Obra Múltiple Contemporánea and will not be returned.

Prize amounts will be transferred to the artists within 30 days after the jury’s decision, to the bank account indicated in the registration form.

Registration Form


The registration form will be available at www.miniprint-galicia.gal, and all fields must be completed.

Personal data must match exactly what appears on the participant’s Identity Document or Passport. Personal data will be stored securely, and participants may request its destruction after the competition.

When completing the form, please use any of these three languages: Spanish, Galician or English.

Non-awarded works may be returned to the participants or donated to the Art Fund of the Association. This must be specified in the registration form.

Personal data and address must be correct and legible, as they will be used for returning the works if requested.

Participation Fee

The participation fee is:

  • Residents of the European Union
    €50 (includes return of works by certified mail)
  • €25 (without return — donation)
  • Non-residents of the European Union
    €55 (includes return by certified mail)
  • €35 (without return — donation)

After completing the registration form, the participation fee must be paid through www.miniprint-galicia.gal via:

The Jury and Prize Selection

The jury will consist of 4 permanent members and one guest artist:

Leonardo Rial, Director of the Taller Experimental de Obra Múltiple Contemporánea

Xoán Pastor Rodríguez Santamaría, Director of the Museo do Gravado de Artes (Ribeira)

Yolanda Carbajales, visual artist

Carlos L. Bernárdez, essayist and art critic

Andrés Conde Balado, visual artist

The jury will deliberate in the “Ángel Botello” Room at the Casa da Cultura “Bernardino Graña” in Cangas de Morrazo and will evaluate only the works that meet all requirements. Works that do not comply will not participate and will not be returned.

The jury’s decision is final and will be published on www.miniprint-galicia.gal.
Winners will also be notified by email.

Exhibition Space

Opening: 19 September 2026, at 12:00, in the “Ángel Botello” Room at the Casa da Cultura “Bernardino Graña” in Cangas de Morrazo.

Catalogue

A total of 50 printed catalogues will be produced and given to awarded artists, jury members, and collaborating institutions.

The catalogue will be available for free download on www.miniprint-galicia.gal

Personal and artwork information from the registration form will be used to complete the catalogue.

Return of Works

Non-awarded artists who opted for the return of their works and paid the corresponding fee will receive them by Certified Mail (Correos de España) starting 6 December 2026.

Works will be sent to the address provided in the registration form.
It is important to notify any change of address between the submission and the end of the competition.

If the package is returned by Correos, participants will be notified by email and may provide a new address for a second shipment. In this case, the participant must cover the additional cost.

Participation Guide

Each participating artist, before 10 July 2026, must:

  • Fully complete the online registration form.
  • Pay the corresponding participation fee, depending on whether they want the works returned or donated.
  • Send by certified postal mail: the participating works, a copy of the registration form, and proof of payment.
  • Receipt of works will not be acknowledged. Awarded works and mentions will be published on the website, and awarded artists will be notified by email.

The Asociación Taller Experimental de Obra Múltiple Contemporánea reserves the right to reproduce the received works for promotional, dissemination, and cultural purposes.

Although the organizing entities will ensure the optimal condition of the works and handle them with the utmost care, they are not responsible for possible damage, loss, delays, or customs retention during shipping or exhibition.

The organization has the authority to resolve any unforeseen issues that may arise.

Participation in the competition implies full acceptance of these rules.
